RESEARCH ADVISORY BOARD

The Institute of Coaching’s Center for Research benefits from the skilled contributions of our Research Advisory Board (RAB), eminent coaches and researchers who advocate for and support coaching-related research.

The RAB is made up of coaching professionals who are experienced researchers, educators, and authors of original coaching-related research. They assess the quality of grant applications and meet regularly to advise the IOC on its strategic direction in support of coaching research.

Carol Kauffman PhD, ABPP, PCC, RAB Co-Chair

Carol Kauffman is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Harvard Medical School, Department of Psychiatry. Carol is a 30-year veteran psychologist at McLean Hospital and an ICF Professional Certified Coach. She is the Chief Supervisor for Meyler Campbell Ltd., a business coaching program based in London. MORE

Susan David PhD, RAB Co-Chair

Founder of Evidence Based Psychology, Susan David is a business psychologist who is known internationally for her research, training programs, and keynote speaking. She specializes in the application of scientific evidence-based methods to emotional intelligence, positive psychology, coaching, and high performance leadership. MORE

Linda Page PhD

Linda Page holds a Ph.D. from Princeton University and a MA in Counseling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. In 1998, she founded Adler International Learning, an ICF accredited coach training organization. MORE

David Peterson PhD

David Peterson is Senior Vice President at Personnel Decisions International (PDI). In 1990, he became practice leader for PDI’s world-wide Coaching Services. David specializes in executive coaching and organizational consulting to help business leaders achieve better results for themselves, their teams, and their organizations. MORE

Sunny Stout Rostron PhD

Sunny Stout Rostron is an international performance consultant and executive coach, with experience in leadership development, business management and strategy, and executive coaching. With 15 years experience as an executive coach, Sunny believes there is a strong link between emotional intelligence and business results. MORE

Gordon Spence PhD

Gordon Spence is one of Australia’s leading coaching psychologists, and he holds a PhD in the psychology of coaching from the University of Sydney. Gordon&s research is notable for the development of a practice framework that integrated mindfulness training and cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused coaching. MORE

Reinhard Stelter PhD

Reinhard Stelter holds a PhD in psychology from the University of Copenhagen and is Professor of Sport and Coaching Psychology at the University of Copenhagen and head of the Coaching Psychology Unit at the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences. He is also trained in psychotherapy, counseling, and coaching psychology. MORE
