This letter indicates your intention to apply for a grant and enables us to provide feedback on whther to continue with a full grant application. Grant-at-a-Glance deadlines are January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
Our submissions process is as follows:

The information you provide is confidential and available only to members of the Institute of Coaching and our Research Advisory Board (RAB).
After each deadline and receipt of all grant applications, these are the Institute&s next steps:
- Each grant is independently reviewed by three members of the RAB.
- Each reviewer completes a review sheet and writes a detailed analysis of the study.
- Reviews are posted prior to the quarterly meetings so all RAB members can read the reviews if they so choose.
- Routinely members of the RAB read all grant applications in addition to those they are specifically assigned.
- During the quarterly RAB grant review meeting, each grant proposal is examined. The reviewers report their assessments to the entire RAB which finalizes the decision.
We appreciate the effort involved in submitting an application. Therefore, applicants receive not only the outcome decision, but also detailed feedback on their project.
Grants are accepted, accepted with minor revisions, accepted with major revisions, not accepted but offered a revise and resubmit option, or they are rejected.
If accepted a portion of the grant is funded at the outset of the project.
Depending on circumstances of each project, funded amount and length of the project the remainder of the funds are dispersed during the project and upon completion of written report of findings.
