Julia Stewart, MMC, CiPP, is an executive coach, coach trainer, and seminar leader, who uses her creativity and humor to expand people’s thinking and inspire them to work brilliantly.  She is passionate about the power of coaching to transform the world and is committed to helping professional coaches forge positive change with the help of effective coaching skills.

A founding member of the International Association of Coaching (IAC), Julia launched the first IAC-licensed coach training school, School of Coaching Mastery, in 2007. Their flagship program, the Certified Positive Psychology Coach® Program, integrates advanced coaching skills with applied positive psychology and neuroscience for professional coaches and is ICF Approved for 125 ACSTH.

Julia is a former dancer and has a BA from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College. She’s a graduate of Coach U and taught at the Thomas Leonard Coaching School, where she became Lead Certifier. In addition, she’s a former “Visionary Coach” for the world's largest coach training company, an Expert Life Coach for Fitness Magazine and a guest instructor for the University of Houston’s Executive Coaching Institute. Julia is pleased to support the Institute of Coaching and frequently directs her students here to explore research and learning opportunities.
