Taruna’s vision is to build Inclusive and Equitable culture in the workplace and in society where everyone feels a sense of Belonging. Her work has always been focussed on building inclusive cultures, inclusive leadership and empowering an individual’s experience of life. She believes that a systemic, holistic approach to wellbeing is required at the individual, leadership, organization and societal level to bring about sustainable change.

She has always been a champion and advocate for Diversity and Inclusion. She is working towards amplifying the DEI Agenda for organisations across Asia, in alignment with global DEI benchmarks, priorities, trends and research.

Taruna is dedicated to lifelong learning and has constantly reinvented and enhanced her career and life journey. Backed by her experience in Recruitment and HR Consulting in the early days, she set-up her Executive Search firm, Target Search Consulting in 2007. She subsequently extended the services to offer Life Coaching, Executive Coaching and Diversity & Inclusion Consulting under Life by Design with Taruna Aggarwal. She is the Co-founder of Good Connect Pte. Ltd a social impact company meeting UN SDG goals for social inclusion and upward mobility.

Taruna coaches mid to senior level leaders, women leaders, women entrepreneurs and youth to be their best authentic self. She designs and facilitates programs related to Diversity & Inclusion, Inclusive Leadership, Personal Development programs for women and youth and Certification Programs for Coaches and Mentors. The learning interventions, take an integrated approach that combines strategy, assessment, facilitation and coaching to create culture shifts and transformation.

She has planned and managed in-person and virtual events with an audience of 50-100 pax, including panel discussions, fire-side chats, interviews. She hosts her talk-show Wide Angle Conversations.

Taruna has a deep interest in evidence-based research in coaching and in advancing the coaching industry in Asia Pacific region.

Longitudnal Market Research Study covering Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Mainland China, Philippines and Singapore. The survey was made available in three languages – English, Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia and collected robust data from 1286 unique respondents including Company Representative and Coaches.
The purpose of our research is to establish baselines of the coaching industry in Asia Pacific and track its development over time to identify trends and insights to support the advancement of Coaching industry in Asia Pacific. Co-author seven Research Reports - the Integrated Survey Report and six Geography Reports.

Qualitative research study, with primary data collected from 40 interviews with coaching experts in Asia Pacific, spanning across the six markets from the 5th Coaching Survey and Australia; as well as secondary data from literature review.
