Pamela Peeke

Dr. Pamela Peeke is an internationally renowned specialist in integrative medicine scientist and expert in the fields of nutrition metabolism and fitness. Dr. Peeke is a regular health commentator for the media chief lifestyle expert for WebMD and Prevention magazine editorial advisor and columnist. Dr. Peeke is a Pew Foundation Scholar in Nutrition and Metabolism Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland and Fellow of the American College of Physicians. As a senior research fellow at the National Institute of Health Dr. Peeke’s work furthered the understanding of the relationship between excessive intra-abdominal fat and chronic stress. Dr. Peeke is Senior Science Advisor to Elements Behavioral Health the nationally renowned network of addiction and eating disorder centers. With a team of culinary nutritionists Dr. Peeke is creating innovative programs to treat addictive-like eating behaviors which can be associated with addiction recovery as well as co-occurring mental health conditions such as trauma depression and anxiety.
