Dr. Gavin R. Slemp is an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne, where he works in the Centre for Wellbeing Science within the Faculty of Education. After earning his doctorate from Monash University, Gavin's research has focused on ways to foster high-quality types of motivation and wellbeing in workplace and educational contexts. His areas of expertise include job crafting, supports for motivation, and employee health interventions such as mindfulness and coaching. Gavin has authored three books and published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in these domains. Before joining the University of Melbourne, he worked in the field of management consulting.
