Guila’s path into theater was fueled by her internal desire to help people express themselves and create interpersonal understanding. Through this drive, she began working as a coach to help people with their body awareness, positive communication, and encourages them to rehearse reality.

As a coach, Guila utilizes theater techniques, such as situational intelligence. She defines this concept as similar to improvisational intelligence. It helps individuals build resilience to the unexpected by practicing how to navigate various scenarios.

The SPIRE model encompasses, wellbeing from 5 places: spiritual, physical, intellectual, relational, and emotional. Guila details how she helps clients navigate self-assessment in these areas and potential additional guidance they may need in areas, depending on their functioning.

Lastly, Guila, Emily, and Austin discuss the 5 pillars of communication, which can help coaches know what tools and advice they can bring towards their clients. Guila walks through the 5 pillars: anchoring, gestures, eye contact, voice, and silence.
