Exploring shifts in how psychologists view happiness, and unveiling goals Martin sees for human flourishing by 2051. Martin also covers his PERMA model, a wellbeing model that is outlined by 5 measurable components: positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, and accomplishment. Martin shares the scientific validity of these measures along with opportunities for coaches to integrate PERMA within their coaching. To close out his talk, Martin highlights emerging technologies in the coaching space, specifically AI chatbots such as Ask Martin, a bot that was programmed off of Martin’s wealth of work and talks. Through this example, Martin creates a vision of how coaches can utilize technology to bolster their client relationships.
