November and December Featured Book: Ordinary Magic: The Science of How We Can Achieve Big Change with Small Acts by Gregory Walton

The IOC Invites you to join our Book Club, which will meet once a month. We will spend two meetings per book, one for a review of the major themes and the other for specialized topic dives related to your coaching practice.

What if small, everyday actions were enough to create meaningful change? This book explores the science behind how people tap into resilience and hope even in the face of adversity. Grounded in rigorous research, it sheds light on how brief moments of connection or reframing can spark transformation.

For coaches supporting clients through personal or professional challenges, Ordinary Magic offers tools to deepen your impact. Join other IOC members/coaches as we reflect on how to apply these ideas in our work: helping leaders and teams build lasting cultures of strength and adaptability.
