Industry efforts to integrate health and well-being coaching services into medical practices made big strides in 2023, with the CMS decision to open the door to the coach on the healthcare team. Our session will review the latest progress and chart out the next phase, presented by IOC Chair, Margaret Moore, who has been co-leading national efforts to establish standards and a path to reimbursement of coaching services in healthcare since 2010.

After the session, participants will:

  1. Understand the role of the coach on the healthcare team
  2. Understand the key drivers of reimbursement of coaching services in healthcare

Meet Our Speaker

Margaret Moore

Margaret Moore, MBA (aka Coach Meg) is an executive coach (mainly healthcare, biotech, and minority police leaders), coach trainer, author, and coaching thought leader.

Margaret is co-founder and chair of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital

She is a 17-year veteran of the biotechnology industry in the US, UK, Canada, and France. She served in executive roles at three companies which later joined Sanofi, and served as CEO and COO of two biotech companies. In 2000, Margaret shifted to coaching, founding Wellcoaches Corporation, a standard-bearer for professional coaches in healthcare and well-being.
