The IOC Invites you to join our Book Club, which will meet once a month on the first Thursday of every month. We will spend two meetings per book, one for a review of the major themes and the other for specialized topic dives related to your coaching practice.
Dr David Drake is partnering with the Institute on a year-long project to help us move beyond competency models in coaching. This discussion group is your opportunity to explore his work on The Five Maturities as a new paradigm for coach development. Sessions will focus on topics such as (1) why we need to align how we assess and develop coaches with what the research concludes make the most difference; (2) why maturity is often more important that mastery when it comes to client outcomes; (3) why we need to define ‘coach’ and ‘coaching’ in new ways now; and (4) why the five maturities and five masteries are key to advancing your craft and practice.
