Executive Coach, PCC, MBA

With twenty-three years of experience as an executive coach, Barb works with leaders to increase their self-awareness, experiment with best-practice skills and habits, and make lasting and impactful behavioral shifts. She helps them bring out their best in leading and developing high performing teams, mastering organizational changes, and broadening their influence.

Her clients are executives, business leaders, and other high-potential leaders within a variety of industries including technology, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, not-for-profits, and government agencies. A partial list of client organizations includes Sandia National Laboratories, US Department of the Interior, Georgia Tech Research Institute, Genentech, Fidelity Investments, United Nations, and Presbyterian Healthcare. 

In addition to executive coaching, Barb also consults with management teams on increasing their capacity to collaborate, engage in direct conversations, and lead organizational change.   

Barb holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is certified in the Bar-On EQ-i Emotional Intelligence Inventory, the Center for Creative Leadership 360 Assessments, Management Research Group Leadership Effectiveness Analysis. Beyond completing extensive coach training programs, she has also trained in adult development theory, neuroscience, and organizational development through the NTL Institute in Washington, D.C., Interaction Associates, and many other organizations.

She has served as an adjunct faculty member at Anderson School of Management at The University of New Mexico and was President of the New Mexico Chapter of the International Coaching Federation. She holds an MBA in Global Management and a B.A. in Communication. Prior to her coaching and consulting work, she held corporate senior account management roles in information technology.
