Jayson Blair is the managing partner of Goose Creek Consulting, a coach and a leadership and organizational development consultant. Mr. Blair leads coaches, consultants, facilitators, and others in providing expert advice to organizational customers and individual clients on development. Mr. Blair serves as a coach for individuals, leaders, executives and teams. Mr. Blair has a particular interest in the complex way that drivers, traits and experiences lead to the development of behaviors. Mr. Blair also focuses on the neurobiological, cognitive, and psychological factors that play a role in individuals' personal and professional development.

Mr. Blair has a background in clinical psychology environment and specializes in leader derailment. He has worked as a leadership coach, executive coach, team coach and mental health coach. He designs assessment tools, is certified in a number of tools and is also certified in the Korn Ferry Leadership Architect (KFLA), which he uses for competency modeling. He also designs leadership development programs and solutions. He serves as a team coach for several organizations. He has also lead change management and employee engagement efforts.

He has partnered as a consultant and coach with private and public sector organizations, including the LifePoint Health, the National Alliance for Broader Impacts, the Defense Health Agency, the Commodities Futures Trade Commission, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of the Navy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and other organizations. In addition, Mr. Blair sees individual consumer clients focused on mental health, life transitions and career development. In his work in that practice, Mr. Blair has coached clients who have worked at the White House, Deloitte Consulting, Raytheon, Harris Corporation, and many other organizations.

Prior to becoming a leadership coach and consultant, Mr. Blair mental health, life and career coach at Ashburn Psychological Services, a clinical psychology and psychiatry practice, in the publishing industry and as a journalist.

Mr. Blair has a bachelor's degree in business communications from Jones International University, has a certificate in psychological first aid from The Johns Hopkins University and a certificate in business journalism from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently studying Adaptive Strategic Leadership at The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
