Josephine Teo | EdD, MBA, PCC
Dr Josephine Teo is a global executive coach and consultant in personal and professional leadership development. She is currently an internal Faculty Instructional Coach with INSEAD business school. She works with new and experienced faculty to be leaders in management education in a dynamically evolving teaching environment, with diverse high-performing and high-potential learners from elite organisations worldwide. She also coaches MBA students individually and in groups as part of their leadership development programme. Furthermore, Josephine directs and teaches a future teachers programme for PhD students, and coaches them for job market talks and conferences.
Besides INSEAD, Josephine works with a diverse range of clients in personal and professional development and wellbeing. While exposed to different approaches and tools used in coaching, she adopts a systemic eclectic approach where she works with the client’s needs in the moment and space. She is constantly curious about how science could inform coaching practices better.
Serving the larger coaching community, she is currently a board member with the International Coaching Federation Singapore Chapter.
Besides coaching, Josephine has been in the training and education space for over 15 years, designing and delivering a wide range of corporate and leadership programmes, as well as train-the-trainer and train-the-developer programmes. She had also held various management and leadership positions in public- and private-sector organisations in functions ranging from operations and marketing to communications.
Josephine holds a Doctorate in Education in Educational Leadership and Change from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University; an MBA from Ivey Business School, Western University; a BFA in Film and Television from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University; and Specialist Diploma in Sports and Exercise Sciences from Republic Polytechnic, Singapore. She is an accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Certified Professional Corporate Coach, and Team Transformation Certified Coach; and holds an INSEAD Certificate in Coaching and Advanced Coaching Certificate. She is also a certified Coach Supervisor.
