Karen brings insight from more than 30 years’ of senior leadership experience in media and content production to her coaching. This experience includes setting strategic priorities, running diverse teams, multiple stakeholders, winning business, risk assessment, navigating continuous change, developing talented people, journalistic rigour, and compelling storytelling.

Experience: A Senior Leader in Broadcast Content production, a creative industry marked by rapid change and high risk. At the BBC, she oversaw Current Affairs Journalism and documentary, before establishing and running a combined production unit of teams creating more than £70 million of international factual programmes and content. As a media consultant she works with broadcasters and independent media companies.

Qualifications and accreditations: Karen trained with the Academy of Executive Coaching as a coaching practitioner and a systemic team coach. She holds credentials with both professional global coaching bodies, ACC with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and EIA Practitioner with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). She is a credentialed Practitioner Team Coach with the GTCI (Global Team Coaching Institute). She holds full personal liability insurance and has professional supervision.
