I have been an educator and educational administrator for my entire career and have had the opportunity to work across Canada and in other parts of the world – China, Trinidad and Tobago, the US and Zambia. I began working with young children and their families as a graduate of the Institute for Child Studies at the University of Toronto, then continued my education a decade later by completing a graduate degree in early and elementary education at the University of Alberta. My interests shifted to working with adults in early childhood settings, and to expand my knowledge and experience I completed a doctoral degree at Arizona State University. Since 2002, I’ve held senior instructional and administrative positions in both colleges and universities. In 2006, I successfully completed the Management Development Program at the Harvard Graduate School. I am also a graduate of the Executive Coaching program at Royal Roads University, Victoria, BC where I honed the skills necessary to be a supportive thinking partner to leaders at all levels in college and university settings.
