I am a partner at Egon Zehnder and a pioneer in developing innovative solutions and particularly proud to have played a leading role in shaping our proprietary approach to Accelerated Integration and Senior Leadership Development. In the past I have held the role of Practice Group Leader, Global Innovation Practice and currently hold that of the Practice Group Leader, Accelerated Integration. My expertise lies in the domain of transitions, when senior leaders are appointed to new roles, when they transition out of organizations or when they make shifts in their identities. In all these cases they experience a transition process. I have personally coached around 100 newly appointed senior leaders at the CEO, n-1 and n-2 levels, across many different sectors and in more than 15 countries. This is around stepping up in their roles, quickly integrating into their new organizations, and taking their leadership identities to the next level.
I have been featured in the May-June 2017 issue of the Harvard Business Review where I co-authored with my colleague Mark Byford and leadership expert Michael D. Watkins (author of “The First 90 Days”) the article “Onboarding Isn’t Enough” (https://hbr.org/2017/05/onboarding-isnt-enough). In the article we outline what we have learned from the field about what executives must do to accelerate their integration in their new roles, and how organizations can decrease the time to success by as much as 40 percent by shifting their mindset from basic onboarding to full integration. Further, as a partner at Egon Zehnder I advise boards and CEOs on senior-level appointments (CEO and C-suite), succession planning and leadership development. I serve listed as well as private companies, including private equity-backed or family-owned businesses. I am experienced in tailoring consulting
solutions for clients, marshalling different services (senior executive search and integration, assessment and development, team development) across a number of industries as well as countries in Europe. I have appraised over 1,000 senior executives across a number of industry sectors including consumer, health, industrial and financial services. I am active in our CEO Succession, Board Consulting, Consumer, Health, Financial Services and Assessment & Development Practices.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, I worked for The Coca-Cola Company and Procter & Gamble, holding roles at country and head office levels in the finance and marketing functions.
I have a BSc in Business Administration from The American College of Greece and an MBA from Columbia University. I am a Trustee at The American College of Greece. I have dual citizenship: USA and Greek. Over the past decade I have spoken at numerous forums and gatherings across the region on the topic of leadership. I also mentor and coach young talents.
