Passionate about education, Loren is an Instructor for Stony Brook University’s Women Leaders in STEM where she teaches executive presence and helps women leaders deepen their communication and organizational influence. She serves as a Physician Leadership Coach for Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical System's Physician Leadership Program.
Ms. Margolis, originally a trained counselor, transitioned early in her career into the business world and quickly became a top corporate recruiter for global firms like Time Warner, McKinsey & Co., BCG, PepsiCo and Pfizer. In 2002, she was recruited by Columbia Business School to teach and advise its executive MBAs embarking on new careers. During her nine-year tenure, Ms. Margolis founded Columbia’s Career Fellows, a high impact peer coaching program, led the Management Communication Program and taught career development strategies to more than 22,000 leaders.
Ms. Margolis went on to lead Training and Development for 64 offices across North America at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and manage leadership development at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Since 2015, Ms. Margolis and her team at Training & Leadership Success have been working with Baker McKenzie, Stanford University Hospital, UNICEF USA, ESPN, UBER, Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Citi, Harry's and many other global organizations to grow their leaders. She and her team help clients produce meaningful growth in their leaders, teams and businesses through executive coaching, large scale learning programs and team coaching.
Ms. Margolis is a certified professional coach from the Center for Coaching Certification, an ICF-accredited institution and holds multiple certifications including Hogan, Lominger Voices 360°, EQ-i 2.0, Korn-Ferry Leadership Architect, Myers-Briggs Type Inventory, DISC and Harvard Business School’s CareerLeader.
Ms. Margolis holds a B.A. in Psychology from Hartwick College and a Master of Social Work from SUNY at Stony Brook.
