I'm a psychotherapist (licensed in California as Marriage and Family Therapist) and life coach located geographically in the San Francisco Bay Area.  My practice of therapy and coaching might be called integrative (or eclectic), and is influenced by Buddhist and Process Thinking and incorporates modalities like Clean Language/Symbolic Modeling, Method of Levels (Perceptual Control Theory), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, among others.  Perceptual Control Theory grounds my thinking about human behavior and might be called the Goldilocks Theory of Behavior in the sense that we all have our "just rights" and our behavior is meant (purposeful) to bring our experience of the world in line with those just rights.   As a therapist/coach I focus I work with people who have something in their life that isn't the way they want it to be.  In other words... no matter what they've done so far... it still isn't "just right."
