Dr. Natasha Annis is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified leadership coach, trained facilitator, and consultant with over 20 years of professional experience in the public and private sectors. Her passion is to help people and organizations enhance their knowledge and effectiveness in building resiliency through strength-based leadership, healthy role-modeling, intentional communication, and purpose-driven goals. Having served in several leadership roles throughout her own career, Natasha understands the power of creating healthy cultures to enhance employee motivation, team cohesion, and sustained performance while also recognizing and reducing common issues such as burnout. She has found this work to be especially impactful for high-achieving populations who often struggle with finding a sense of healthy work-life integration.
Natasha’s unique training and background enables her to bring breadth and depth of knowledge to her work, grounded in science-based interventions and an integrated framework. She began her career with a focus in health psychology where she trained in the use Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and positive psychology interventions to help those struggling with eating disorders, body-image issues, chronic pain, and stress-related medical conditions. Over the years she has built on these specialties, earning additional certifications as a strength-based leadership coach, a certified Corporate Athlete trainer, and a registered yoga teacher. In addition to working with individual clients and teams she is a frequent workshop facilitator on topics such as effective, inclusive, and resilient leadership; energy management and stress recovery; and building self-awareness and emotional intelligence through personality assessment feedback and mindfulness practices.
Natasha currently spends her professional time working with and for national security agencies, local law enforcement, and private sector clients. She is the founder of The Wellness Studio, LLC where she leans into many of her passions -- bringing integrated practices to others through a blend of yoga, mindfulness, and positive psychology and coaching services. She belongs to several professional organizations to ensure continuous learning and growth.
