Newell is a leadership coach and creative group facilitator who partners with leaders to help them grow prosperous organizations people love to work in while building a fulfilling, healthy life for themselves and their families. His primary clients are C-suite and emerging leaders in diverse technology, financial, pharma, real estate and creative industry sectors. He works with these entrepreneurs to make transformation changes – new strategic directions, leadership transitions, leadership pipeline projects, reorganizations, relocations, new products/services, collaborations and other complex change situations .
Newell is known for his capacity to create the safe psychological space for difficult conversations and breakthrough outcomes and for his facilitation of energizing experiential workshops and retreats. His motivational approach brings the latest adult development, neuroscience and mindfulness research to each client’s unique situation.
Newell received his leadership coaching and facilitation training from the Institute for Generative Leadership, Coaches Rising, The Leadership Circle, Creative Education Foundation, and the NLP Center of New York. He is an active member and frequent trainer of coaches and facilitators at the Creative Problem Solving Institute, Mind Camp, CREA Italy and the Hudson- Mohawk Chapter of Association for Training & Development. His university training is in design, human behavior and social change from Rensselaer Polytechnic with advance studies in organizational behavior at Russell Sage College and in communications theory and practice at the State University of New York at Albany. His current studies are focused on adult development, emotional intelligence, neuroscience, mindfulness and related mind-body approaches.
