I am a very experienced coach and was awarded the Institute of Coaching's inaugural award for 'Coaching for the Social Good' in 2021. I now sit on the IOC committee to help decide future recipients of the award. I have a Ph.D. in coaching and have published articles about its benefits (see my website coachdoctor.org for details). I have a background in children's social work and firmly believe in keeping coaching as accessible as possible. I have been coaching people - from teens to executives to those in retirement - for 10 years both online and in person in my garden room coaching space. I am a trainer and guest lecturer in coaching and deliver coaching skills training across the UK. I am the Director of Group Coaching for the Michael Beverley Innovation Fellowship at the University of Leeds, UK where I support researchers through coaching to become entrepreneurs. I have a background in social work and am currently coaching young people leaving children's homes in the UK.
