Dr. Bethany Peters holds her PhD in organizational leadership and intercultural education from the University of Minnesota, and has over twenty years of experience in leadership development, international education, and intercultural training.  She is the founder and CEO of The Leadership Coaching Lab, where she provides coaching, training, and consulting, specializing in leadership development, coaching skills for managers, intercultural development, and transformational teamwork.

Dr. Peters is a certified leadership coach with the International Coaching Federation (ACC), and a certified consultant for Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Enneagram, and the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).  

Before beginning her coaching career, Dr. Peters acquired over 20 years of experience in the fields of leadership development and intercultural/global learning. She currently serves as adjunct faculty and a dissertation chair in several graduate leadership and education programs, including a Master's in Strategic Leadership, a Master's in Teaching, and a PhD/DSL in Organizational Leadership.  She teaches courses on team dynamics, coaching for managers, personal leadership, innovation, and cultural intelligence.  Her research interests include cultural humility, group dynamics, and a coach approach to leading.
