May and June Featured Book: Belonging without Othering: How We Save Ourselves and the World by john a. powell and Stephen Menendian

The IOC Invites you to join our Book Club.  We will spend two meetings per book, one for a review of the major themes and the other for specialized topic dives related to your coaching practice.

This May and June, we’re diving into a timely and thought-provoking book that challenges the concept of “othering” and offers a powerful framework for promoting belonging—without creating new divides.

Perfect for leadership and executive coaches, this selection provides actionable insights on:

  • Navigating workplace conflict with compassion and effectiveness
  • Building truly inclusive and psychologically safe environments
  • Supporting clients in embracing more expansive identities
  • Creating stronger, more cohesive teams
  • Elevating your coaching practice with deeper understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion dynamics

Join us to discuss how these concepts can transform the organizations and leaders you work with, and walk away with tools to help foster more equitable and successful workplaces.

Be part of the conversation—grow your coaching impact.
