I am the Head of Neurosurgery at Heliópolis Hospital, where I lead a team of neurosurgeons who provide high-quality patient care and innovative solutions for complex neurological conditions. With 16 years of experience in neurosurgery, I specialize in vascular, skull base, and minimally invasive techniques. I also collaborate with the healthcare industry to optimize the investment and budget decisions for neurosurgery equipment and facilities.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am passionate about developing my leadership and management skills to improve the performance and outcomes of hospitals, medical staff, and patients. I have completed postgraduate programs in surgical leadership, leadership and people management in healthcare, and healthcare leadership from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. I have also applied my knowledge and skills to coordinate neurosurgery teams and services at several hospitals, as well as to serve as a technical director and a preceptor neurosurgeon. Furthermore, I am interested in exploring the potential of artificial intelligence and public health to enhance the quality and accessibility of neurosurgery.
