Dr Nicola Pless is a Chaired Professor in Management, clinical organizational psychologist, business ethicist, and an executive coach certified by the Institute for Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL). She studied at INSEAD with Manfred Kets de Vries and completed the executive program ‘Coaching Consulting for Change’.

Her research is focused on diversity-equity-inclusion, leadership, neuroscience, and ethics. She is a pioneer in responsible leadership with award-winning research being published in international journals like Academy of Management Learning & Education, Academy of Management Perspectives, Human Resource Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Ethics and featured in media outlets such as BBC, Boston Globe, Business Week, CEO Magazine, Forbes, Fortune, Ideas for Leaders, Management Today, Psychology Today.

Her Routledge book on Responsible Leadership was launched at the World Economic Forum and reviewed by Harvard Business School.

Two of the leadership development programs that she designed/co-designed received awards by the Academy of Management and by Global HR News. Her teaching was mentioned by UNPRME, Poets & Quants and honoured with the Aspen Institute’s Faculty Pioneer Award.

In her coaching practice she focuses on leadership coaching and applies positive psychology, the ICF approach, and conducts narrative coaching and developmental coaching towards responsible and inclusive leadership and resolving ethical dilemmas.
